Boards people actually draw
Architecture reviews, flowcharts, retros, pipelines — six real board shapes and how each one was made: by hand, from a prompt, or imported and tidied.
Product launch mind map
One prompt — "map everything our launch needs" — and AI drafted the whole tree. The dashed node is Claude, mid-draw.
How it was made: Generated from a text prompt, rearranged live with the team.
Microservices, containers and all
A service boundary as a dashed container, an API gateway, and a database — the smart arrows re-route themselves as you move things.
How it was made: Imported from draw.io, then tidied with auto-routing.
Streaming ETL pipeline
Each hop uses the dots flow style, so the data visibly travels. Exported as a seamlessly looping GIF for the team wiki.
How it was made: Drawn by hand; edges set to dots flow → GIF export.
Signup flow with a decision point
Classic flowchart vocabulary — pills, a decision diamond, outcome nodes — drawn with port snapping in a couple of minutes.
How it was made: Drawn by hand with connection ports and snap-to-grid.
Sprint retro, one page per sprint
Sticky-note cards in three columns, with comment pins and @mentions doing the follow-ups. Page tabs keep every sprint in one board.
How it was made: Multi-page board, edited live by the whole team.
Office network topology
A star topology around the core router, built from the Network stencil set. The dashed ring marks the redundancy zone.
How it was made: Built with the Network stencils; saved as a reusable shape.
